Easy to make in under 10 mins

Alternative to rice

Great as a cold salad



Ingredients

50g per person (1 mug is enough for 4 people)

same quantity of water

1 tablespoon Frozen peas or tinned peas

frozen sweetcorn or tinned sweetcorn

Frozen peppers (optional)

1/4 pkt pomegranate seeds (optional)

1/2 spring onion per person

3 mint leaves


Hints & Tips

use within 3 days of making

Method

put the couscous in a bowl

add boiling water and cover

defrost the other ingredients or open cans

Chop the mint very finely

Wash and cut the spring onion into thin rounds

Use a fork to separate the grains

mix in the other ingredients
