turn on slow cooker to high
add flour, bicarb of soda and caster sugar together and stir
Chop the butter into little pieces and add to dry ingredients
rub ingredients together so it looks like breadcrumbs. (Rub fingers over your thumb, not getting the palms sticky
Cut the banana into small pieces and add to the mix
Mush with a fork
Add the eggs and sour milk
Stir well so all ingredients form a smooth cake mix
Line the oven proof dish that fits in the slow cooker, put a small amount of oil in the middle of the dish, rub it round the inside so that all areas are covered inside. if too much oil, drain it off. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour into the middle and shake round covering all the surface on the inside of the dish. Shake off excess flour.
Put the cake mixture in the oven proof dish and bake on high for 3 hours
Check its cooked with a skewer or knife. It will come out with no mixture on the knife.
